Kathmandu → Rasuwagadhi Border → Kerung → Lake Manasarovar → Kailash Parikrama
Arrive in Kathmandu. Meet our local representative, transfer to hotel. Attend the evening briefing and welcome group dinner.
Temple tour: Visit Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath. Perform pre-yatra rituals and collective prayers.
Embark on an overland drive from Kathmandu to the border town of Rasuwagadhi (Nepal border, 1800m). Check-in at the lodge.
Complete border customs and entry formalities. Cross the friendship bridge to Tibet, drive to Kerung town (2900m) for rest and acclimatization.
Continue driving deeper into the dry Tibetan plateau, crossing scenic passes, to reach Saga town (4450m).
Drive to the holy Lake Manasarovar (4590m). Settle into the guesthouse near Chhu Gompa. Enjoy sunset prayers and meditation.
Perform morning holy dip/bath and Rudra Abhishek puja at Lake Manasarovar. Afternoon drive to Darchen (4575m) at the foot of Mount Kailash.
Trek from Yam Dwar to Diraphuk (4900m). Witness the sacred North Face and perform Charan Sparsh (touching the holy mountain).
Trek to Zuthulphuk (4760m), crossing the highest point: Dolma La Pass (5630m). View holy Gauri Kund emerald lake.
Complete the remaining parikrama circuit trek back to Darchen. Celebrate the Saga Dawa Full Moon Festival and Tarboche ritual.
Board vehicles and travel back across the high-altitude plains to Saga town for rest.
Travel from Saga to Shigatse, visiting major monasteries and reviewing the yatra experience.
Travel back across the Tibetan plateau towards the border region of Kerung.
Complete exit formalities, cross border into Nepal, and drive to Rasuwagadhi or continue towards Kathmandu border region.
Complete the drive back to Kathmandu. Relax at the hotel, attend closing prayers, and farewell gathering.
