Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. Kathmandu, a city rich in ancient traditions and spiritual heritage, serves as the perfect gateway to this sacred journey. After check-in, you can relax and recover from your travel. In the evening, a short briefing session will be conducted to prepare you for the Yatra.
After breakfast, begin a spiritual journey through some of the most sacred sites in Kathmandu Valley. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, located along the banks of the Bagmati River. Continue to Gujeshwori Temple, a revered Shakti Peeth associated with divine feminine energy. Then visit Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world. Conclude the day at Swayambhunath Stupa, perched atop a hill offering panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley along with deep serenity.
After an early breakfast, begin your scenic drive towards Rasuwa Gadi, located near the Nepal-China border. The journey takes you through beautiful hills, rivers, and traditional villages, gradually transitioning into more rugged Himalayan terrain. Upon arrival, complete immigration and customs procedures on both the Nepal and China sides. This marks the beginning of your international pilgrimage route. Overnight stay near the border.
After crossing the border, you officially enter Tibet (China) and drive to Kerung (approx. 26 km). Situated at an altitude of 3,700 meters, Kerung is a charming town surrounded by snow-capped mountains and pristine natural beauty. This day is also vital for acclimatization, allowing your body to adjust to higher altitude. Take light walks, stay hydrated, and enjoy the peaceful Himalayan environment. Overnight stay at hotel.
Today’s journey takes you across vast Tibetan landscapes to Saga (approx. 250 km, 4,500m). Along the way, witness breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas, including the majestic Mt. Shishapangma (8,021m), one of the world’s highest peaks. Cross the high Gurung-La Pass (5,050m), where prayer flags flutter in the wind, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Overnight stay at Saga.
One of the most awaited and spiritually powerful days of the journey. Drive to holy Lake Mansarovar (approx. 385 km, 4,500m). As you approach, you will witness your first divine glimpse of Mt. Kailash on this sacred Full Moon day. Lake Mansarovar holds immense spiritual significance across Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon traditions. Overnight stay at Chhu Gompa near the lake, where the serene environment allows for deep reflection and peace.
Begin your day at Lake Mansarovar. The calm waters, reflection of Mount Kailash, and deep silence create a transformative spiritual experience. Later, drive to Darchen (30 km, 4,560m), the base camp for the Kailash Kora. Prepare mentally and physically for the upcoming trek. Overnight stay at hotel. (Please note: taking bath in the lake is prohibited by the Chinese Government).
Today marks the beginning of the sacred Kailash Parikrama (Kora). Drive to Tarboche (10 km), a site marked by prayer flags and spiritual energy. From here, begin your trek to Dirapuk (approx. 4–5 hours). The trail offers stunning views of the divine North Face of Mount Kailash, considered the center of the universe. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Dirapuk.
Spend the day exploring the North Face of Mount Kailash. This dedicated exploration and acclimatization day allows you to connect deeply with the spiritual energy of the sacred mountain and reflect on your journey. The silence and raw beauty of the surroundings make it a truly unforgettable experience. Overnight stay at Dirapuk guesthouse.
The most challenging yet spiritually rewarding day of the Yatra. Trek approximately 22 km (8–10 hours), crossing the high Dolma La Pass (5,600m), the highest point of the journey. Pilgrims offer prayers here before descending towards sacred Gauri Kund, associated with Goddess Parvati. Despite the physical challenge, this day symbolizes transformation and devotion. Continue to Zuthulpuk (4,790m) for overnight stay at a guesthouse. (Meal Plan: B/L/D).
Complete the final stretch of the Kailash Parikrama with a trek of approx. 8 km. Upon reaching the endpoint, vehicles will take you back to Darchen. This marks the successful completion of the sacred Kora—a moment of immense pride, relief, and spiritual fulfillment. Overnight stay at hotel in Darchen.
Travel across the vast Tibetan plateau and cross the mighty Brahmaputra River, believed to originate near the Kailash region. The journey offers one last chance to absorb the beauty and serenity of this mystical land. Overnight stay at Saga.
Continue your return journey to Kerung, retracing the scenic Himalayan route. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you descend gradually from the high plateau. Overnight stay at hotel in Kerung.
Drive back to Kathmandu, re-entering Nepal. Upon arrival, check into a 5-star hotel (Hotel Malla) and enjoy a comfortable evening of rest and relaxation.

You leave not just with memories, but with a deep sense of spiritual fulfillment, inner peace, and a once-in-a-lifetime connection with the divine Mount Kailash. In the evening, a special farewell dinner will be served to celebrate the successful completion of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
After breakfast, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward international flight home, carrying the everlasting blessings of Lord Shiva and sacred Mount Kailash.
